I have lived in Michigan all of my adult life, having moved here to attend college when I was 18. I have always had an interest in art and have nurtured that through the years through drawing, painting and in recent years, fiber arts. In 2018, I received a BA in Art from Western Michigan University.

I enjoy both the technical and artistic aspects of working with fabric and mixed media. I may start with an idea on a piece and find that it becomes completely transformed during the creative process. I like the feeling of letting go within the confines of the media. I have deep reverence and gratitude for the natural world around me, and I strive to reflect that in my work.
